White will add to the modern feel, as will other solid colors; a monochrome look is ultra modern, or a bold accent color can be added. Go easier on the pillows than on a traditional bed as a modern king sleigh bed will have sleeker lines and not carry the weight of a traditional one. Though less is more, an accent pillow or two will still work, perhaps a bolster in the same color or the accent color.
